\nThe Academi Carbine Two course is a two-day course designed for the individual with formal firearms training. Students will apply firearms safety rules, safety procedures. This course is designed to develop a solid foundation of shooting skills with the carbine rifle. The students will exercise these skills in a variety of shooting situations to quickly gain experience, confidence and increase their skill level with their carbine. The students will continue to demonstrate fundamentals of carbine shooting. The core topics will be marksmanship, presentation from different ready positions, reloads and malfunctions, and various shooting positions.
\nTOPICS• Weapon safety, range safety• Zero confirmation• Fundamentals refresher• Multiple Target Engagement • Shooting positions standing, kneeling, prone• Weapon Ready positions • Shooting on the move• Proper use of cover.
\nPRE-REQUISITES

\nCertificate for Carbine One from Academi Training LLC or equivalent certification.• Current, valid carry permit with driver’s license –or-• Current law enforcement ID –or-• Completion of a Background Check with driver’s license https://www.sentrylink.com/

\nGEAR REQUIREMENT• Carbine• Sling• Minimum three carbine magazines• Magazine holders• Belt• Clear wraparound ballistic eye protection• Ear protection• Firearm cleaning kit• A water bottle or other hydration system• Rain gear• Clothing appropriate for climate and conditions
\nAMMUNITION REQUIREMENT• 1000 carbine rounds – minimum
\nMETHOD OF INSTRUCTIONClassroom lecture, PowerPoint presentation, practical live fire applications on the range.
